1st PebblePad Conference - 8-10 June 2010, Shifnal, UK

Park House Hotel, Shifnal

This is going to be the best PebblePad conference ever. In fact, this is going to be the first PebblePad conference ever!

PebblePad is not like other eportfolio tools: there are pedagogies promoted by it; processes and practices peculiar to it. This conference is aimed first and foremost at PebblePad practitioners with a programme dedicated to learning from the collective experience of others.

The conference will not be constrained by the term eportfolio but will consider PebblePad, and other tools, in the broader context of personal learning systems.

We hope to promote learning and understanding through a broad range of case studies (which will be collated and published); through panel discussions and workshops and through the experience and insight of our invited speakers. However, we know that there is as much to be learnt from outside the curriculum as there is within it. To that end, there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and social learning.

The conference will be capped at 120 delegates to help promote a sense of community.
